Caribbean ICT Roadshow Comes to St Kitts & Nevis |
Communities across the Federation to benefit from Week of Technology Events
Basseterre, St Kitts. 23 May 2011.
The Federation of St Kitts and Nevis in June becomes the next country to benefit from the innovative use of information and communication technology (ICT) through the Caribbean Telecommunications Union’s ICT Roadshow. The St Kits & Nevis leg of the Caribbean ICT Roadshow kicks off from June 10, with an ICT Village at Independence Square, Basseterre. The initiative, which promotes business, education and community opportunities using the Internet and technology tools, is expected to provide a week of free training, expert workshops and special educational activities for citizens.

Caribbean ICT Roadshow Comes to Grenada |
St. George’s – 17 March 2011 - The Caribbean ICT Roadshow, an initiative of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), is being hosted in Grenada from the 16th to 19th May 2011. This represents the 15th Caribbean country in which this initiative will take place. The Roadshow seeks to promote the innovative use of information and communication technology (ICT) across all sectors of social and economic activity. The Government of Grenada, through the Office of the Prime Minister is partnering with the CTU on this initiative. The Roadshow places a strong emphasis on meaningful ICT activities that deliver tangible benefits to Caribbean citizens. A number of national, regional and international speakers are slated to participate.

Government to Revolutionize Internet in SVG Vincent Government |
CTU Symposium on Internet Exchange Point in St Vincent and the Grenadines
KINGSTOWN, ST VINCENT - “St Vincent must not be left behind in the digital age”, this according to Minister Dr. Jerrol Thompson at the opening of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) Symposium on the establishment of an Internet Exchange Point in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The CTU symposium, held in collaboration with US-based nonprofit Packet Clearing House (PCH) was convened by the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines at the Knowledge Institute and Conference Centre in Kingston, St Vincent.
