BVI to Host ICT Roadshow in May
Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Julian Fraser, RA and Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), Secretary General Ms. Bernadette Lewis unveiled plans for the BVI Road Show during a press briefing held on Thursday 11th Februray 2010, at the Moorings Mariner Inn.

Speaking at the press briefing the Minister said "The roadshow is good for the BVI. The BVI relies extensively on financial services. More than 50% of the revenue from the treasury comes from financial services and we have to be able to provide relevant telecommunications services to continue to operate effectively for these businesses," the minister said.

Montserrat to host ICT Roadshow in April

BRADES, Montserrat (January 28, 2010) – Montserrat is scheduled to host the seventh leg of the ICT Roadshow from April 21 to 23, 2010.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Minister of Communications & Works Charles Kirnon commended the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) on their initiative to bring awareness to the use of information communications technology to the wider Caribbean and Montserrat. He added that it fit within the scope of the government’s plan to encourage innovation and the use of all available technology to improve Montserrat.
